Bangkok – 8 January, 2026 – Recently, the A4 ROBOTICS team was honored to be invited as one of the innovative organizations to participate in the major annual event, "DIPROM Rama IV Open House," held at the Tongkla Conference Room, Plastics Institute of Thailand, in the Kluay Nam Tai area. The event was presided over by Dr. Thanakorn Wangboonkongchana, Minister of Industry, along with high-level executives from the Ministry of Industry and numerous industrial development institute networks.
From the Main Stage: When AI Gains "Eyes" and "Hands"
During the presentation highlight, the representative from A4 ROBOTICS took the stage to lecture on the future of Robotics Solutions, pointing out that in the current era, while AI excels in the digital world (e.g., chat response typing), what A4 ROBOTICS is doing is fulfilling "Visual Perception" and "Action" for AI, allowing robots to work perfectly in the real world.

Innovation Deep Dive: Autonomous Palm Harvester Solves Thai Farmers' Pain Points
A4 ROBOTICS unveiled its key solution, which received funding from the National Innovation Agency (NIA): the "Autonomous Palm Grabber Vehicle." This solution was developed to address the problems of labor shortages and strenuous work in oil palm plantations. The system's key capabilities include:
- Visual Positioning & Localization: The vehicle can accurately identify its own position and the position of the palm fruits using a camera system and AI, acting like "eyes" that search for the produce.
- Smart Harvesting Action: The AI-controlled intelligent robotic arm can precisely grab palm fruits weighing over 50 kilograms and place them into the vehicle's bed, reducing the physical burden (Safety & Ergonomics) on farmers.
- Autonomous Navigation: The vehicle can drive itself through the rows, make U-turns to change rows, and automatically accelerate/decelerate the engine, ensuring continuous and consistent operation (Consistency).
Expansion to Smart Warehouse
Beyond agriculture, A4 ROBOTICS’ technology is also applied in Smart Warehouse systems, utilizing robots to assist in stock counting, barcode reading, and product location identification. This significantly increases reliability of data and Productivity for the industrial sector.
An Atmosphere of Collaboration
At the "DIPROM Rama IV Open House" event, in addition to the innovation showcase, an MOU signing ceremony for collaboration to enhance the plastic industry and municipal waste management was held between the Plastics Institute and leading organizations like SCG Chemicals, IRPC, and PTT Global Chemical. This reflects the commitment of both the public and private sectors to drive Thai industry with technology and sustainability.
This participation marks a crucial step for A4 ROBOTICS in proving that robotics technology, crafted by Thai expertise, is ready to fully drive the agricultural and industrial sectors into the era of automation.
